Main

I’m physicist. I like to program, to make theoretical calculation though my work was mainly experimental till now. Investigation of manganite thin films  using strong magnetic field pulses of millisecond duration and electric pulses of nanosecond duration was the main area of my activity during the PhD studies at the Semiconductor Physics institute, High Power Pulse Laboratory. My PhD thesis can be downloaded from here. I decided to acquire knowledge of other discipline after obtaining of PhD.

I have been working at Biotechnology Institute, Laboratory of Biothermodynamics and Drug Design since the 1st of February, 2007. So, I changed my research area substantially. Protein-small molecule docking and experimental determination of constant of ligand binding to protein are my activities now.

For molecular docking I used eHiTS (under the academic license, thanks to SimBioSys). I wrote a GUI for eHiTS convert utility. This GUI was called TMAconvert and can be downloaded from  Downloads. I use Thermofluor and Isothermal Titration Calometry (ITC) methods to find out the binding constants.
